Real Mexican cooking, from scratch, every morning.

El Colorado Mexican Restaurant opened its doors as a small, family-run kitchen with one goal: cook the way abuela did. That means beans mashed by hand with a traditional masher instead of dumped from a can, rice simmered thick and hearty until it takes on that deep refried flavor, and carne guisada made straight from the pan — no blender shortcuts, no processed sauces.

Every tortilla on the table is handmade, pressed and cooked fresh throughout the morning and afternoon. Guests keep coming back for the pozole and street tacos, and no plate leaves the kitchen without a lineup of house-made salsas alongside it, each with its own personality and heat.

We're a young business still growing, but we cook with decades of family tradition behind every plate. Come hungry, come often, and expect to be treated like family from the first bite of breakfast to the last spoonful of pozole.
